Web Sites

Barbara Chan Web Studio (1998-Present)

I work as an independent Web designer. This Web site was coded to ensure Web accessibility compliancy. It uses Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) to formulate the Web pages. The graphics were created in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Fireworks. I kept the number of graphics to a minimum, but enough to show my graphic sense to the audience.

Lander Custom Designed Homes (2001)

The work performed included Web site and graphics design using Microsoft FrontPage and Fireworks FX. It was important for my client to showcase the kind of products the company was capable of making. I used a rollover effect on the thumbnails, so that the audience can view the larger images without scrolling the page.

Veterans Lawyers (2002-Present)

This is a Web site that was produced using FrontPage and Fireworks FX. It was designed for the purpose of serving war veterans in legal matters. The site provides just the right amount of information to keep the audience engaged.

Butterfly & Nature Gifts (2000-Present)

This is an example of a Web site built to client's specifications. My responsibilities include Web site maintenance and on-demand icon production. The design goal is to create a family-friendly Web site site filled with nature-themed icons.
